I grew up in the Midwest and relocated with my family to Tucson, AZ in 1995. My love for interior design has been lifelong, yet I didn't recognize it as my true calling until my early 20s. As a kid, I would rearrange my room several times in each house we moved into - until it "felt right." I would draw mansions and floor plans, and talk about the family that lived there.  I developed a natural talent for interior arrangement, assisting friends and family in creating more comfortable homes. I would get an overwhelming sense of happiness seeing them ecstatic about their space - and that's when I realized this was what I wanted to do. 

 

I've been in the design industry for 20 years and received my Bachelor of Interior Design with Honors from The Art Institute of Tucson. With a foundation in high-end furniture and window coverings, my expertise has expanded to encompass hard finishes and comprehensive kitchen and bath design, working with a number of highly regarded local builders. These various opportunities provided me a well-rounded palette and allowed me to establish Mood Design. 

 

My heart is in refined industrial design - a fusion of edgy urban energy and the relaxed, contemporary feel of the Arizona desert. In my free time I enjoy golfing and traveling with my sister and friends.
